How to make your university room feel like home

Moving into a strange student house miles and miles away from home with a group of strangers is hands down one of the scariest things I have ever done. SO to get over this very traumatising experience I decided to make my room as homely as possible. I did this first by moving in my 1000s of possessions - I have a massive wardrobe like at least 4 metres wide as well as drawers and loads of cupboard space. So as well as that and my abundance of notebooks and approximately 6 billion pens I did lots of different things to put my stamp on what I now call 'home'. Obviously I am kinda restricted by not being allowed to stick things on the walls or put a mirror on the wall. I would LOVE to put some cute prints above my bed - but I do want my deposit back at the end of my tenancy so I make do!
